Our Approach

We don't consider planting to be the end of a process. Rather, we at Vrikshawali think that saplings, like children, require proper care, nurturing, and a suitable environment in which to flourish. Where saplings do not find appropriate growing conditions, the results are poor; many saplings die before reaching the status of tree.

We understand that aftercare is most critical for young and newly planted trees. We know that if we don't provide aftercare, we risk planting a lot of trees that die or don't grow large enough to deliver benefits like carbon capture. Keeping this in mind, we ensure the survival of a planted sapling and its development into a tree.
